Meeting Planners Say:
I
prayed that Vonda would be funny enough to win our hearts, yet challenge
us with the Truth of Gods Word, and show us how to apply that
truth to our hearts. God far surpassed anything I had prayed for! Glory
to His Name!

When
I think of Vonda Skelton, her love for the Lord comes to mind; it oozes
from her pores. Her sweet spirit, small stature and huge enthusiasm
for life combine for a refreshing, humorous, and profound message. Her
insight for women about living for Jesus is very encouraging. Her love
of writing and eagerness to help others with the same interest went
far above our expectations. She is quite simply, a gem.

Vonda
Says:
Humor is the great equalizer. Young or old, rich or poor, women experience
similar successes and similar failures; and if we're smart, we don't
take either one too seriously! By laughing at ourselves in the midst
of our shared chaos, we open the door to an honest appraisal of who
we are, and what we are, and where we are in Him.
Gospel Presentation?
Whether
I'm doing an in-depth Bible study or humor with a message, I love to
include the Gospel of salvation through Christ. The topic may determine
the manner in which it's presented, but the hope found in God's love
and forgiveness never changes.
Why Vonda Speaks:
God
doesn't waste anything. I believe He allows the good and bad experiences
of my life so that I can share the truth: That He loves us and wants
to forgive us, regardless of what we've done.
Vonda's Goal:
As
women, we're so busy trying to be everything to everybody that we end
up feeling like we're nobody to anybody! We worry that we'll never get
it right; that we're letting everyone down; that we can't measure up;
that we don't have what it takes. My goal is to point women to the only
true source of encouragement and hope-Jesus Christ, our Lord.
