Sandra's Speaking Topics:

BLESS YOUR SOCKS OFF: Encouraging words have power to lift spirits, soothe emotions, restore relationships and even change lives. Poignant illustrations and practical suggestions for those who need encouragement--or want to give it. Based on Sandra's book Bless Your Socks Off: Unleashing the Power of Encouragement.

GRAB THE JOY: We do have choices in life, including whether to embrace a good attitude that will allow us to concentrate on the good things around us. The three easy steps to developing an attitude of gratitude are included.

HEARTPRINTS: MAKING A DIFFERENCE RIGHT NOW, RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE: The average woman in the pew often thinks she isn't doing anything special since she doesn't have a public ministry. But just by being who God has created her to be, she has a profound effect upon those around her. Encouragement based on Sandra's co-authored book HeartPrints: Celebrating the Power of a Simple Touch.

HOW DO I STOP THIS RUNAWAY TRAIN?: Popular with those who are feeling overwhelmed by the demands of work and family-especially during the stressful holidays.

FRIENDS NEEDED (MATCHING SHOES OPTIONAL): When we think we can't offer advice because we don't "have it all together," we are robbing ourselves of a potentially wonderful experience. After all, "mentoring" is just a fancy word for the opportunity to change a life. Practical suggestions for ways to make a difference in another's life without disrupting yours included.

A NEW BEGINNING: We don't have to be trapped by life's circumstances. Encouragement, humor and practical steps for those who need an emotional jump start.

HELP! I'M A WOMAN OF THE NEW MILENNIUM!: Humor and insight from a veteran whose role as a wife, mother, widow and career woman have offered plenty of in-the-trenches training.

LOOKING BACK: THINGS I WISH I'D KNOWN WHEN I FIRST MARRIED: Ever wish the marriage license came with a warning label? Then you'll enjoy these humorous illustrations and practical suggestions. Based on Sandra's book Men Read Newspapers-Not Minds (and other things I wish I'd known when I first married).

GOOD GRIEF: The stages of grief-whether from death or divorce-can serve as emotional markers for either those who are bereaved or those who want to help. Children's needs will be addressed as well. Based on Sandra's award-winning book Will I Ever Be Whole Again? Surviving the Death of Someone You Love.

SO YOU THINK YOU GOT ON THE WRONG PLANE: Ever second guess your decisions? Or wished you could rewind the tape of a particular day? Then you'll appreciate the lessons learned from a Chicago flight. Patterns of the less-than-perfect family and three basic types of guilt are included.

HEY, YOUNG PEOPLE, THESE ARE NOT THE BEST YEARS OF YOUR LIFE! Zany stories and no-nonsense advice for young people wading through decisions.

HONEY, HANG IN THERE! IT DOES GET BETTER!: If you're looking for advice on how to raise perfect children, this is not the session you want. But if you need encouragement on how to get through this stressful stage, you'll enjoy the humor and practical tips from this veteran mother. Based on Sandra's book Honey, Hang In There! Encouragement for Busy Moms.

WE ARE STILL A FAMILY: Encouragement and practical advice for single parents forging a new lifestyle and establishing new traditions when the family structure changes. Based on Sandra's classical book From One Single Mother to Another: Heart-Lifting Encouragement and Practical Advice.

Meeting Planners Say:

• They like my humor, my spiritual points, my honesty and my approachability.

Sandra Says:

"God has called me to this. As long as He keeps providing opportunities, I plan to
show up."
ALSO -- "Yes, I am considered a humorist. I've learned the truth of '"a little bit of sugar makes the medicine go down.'"

Why Sandra Speaks:

The Gospel is always part of my presentations-but in varying degrees depending on the wishes of the group. Occasionally, I'm asked to give the altar call, which I'm happy to do. Other groups want only a silent eyes raised response. When I traveled with the Women of Virtue team, I was often the one asked to give the altar call.

Sandra's Goal:

God wants to remind us of His peace, His power, His purpose, His protection, His
very Presence. Too often, though, we listen to the wrong voices-old mental tapes
from childhood, false standards from a corrupt society, hissed lies from the
Enemy. I want His voice to be the one I hear so His voice--and His message--will
be the one my audiences hear.
