Patricia
Says:
My
talks are generally light on the heavy theology and heavy on the light
inspiration, motivation, celebration and art-of-living. I am not a theologian
or a Bible scholar, but I present real-life inspirational stories with
real-life solutions that certainly use the gospel of Jesus Christ in
their takeaway messages. I don't generally quote the Bible verse by
verse.
Why
Patricia Speaks:
As
a woman who raised four children as a single parent, had kids in college
for 17 years in a row without a break, had no relatives in the state
where I raised them, was married, divorced and annulled twice (second
husband left me for an older woman, married her the day of our divorce
then died two years later, devastating the nine-year-old son we had
together) I am compelled to share how I learned to love my struggles
and give hope to those also struggling. That includes everyone in the
room generally. I'm one of the happiest people I know, proving that
struggles are, indeed, blessings of great importance.
Patricia's Goal:
I want the Holy Spirit to gently lift them up my audiences and help
them say, "WOW! If she can do it, I can do it. Look how she was
blessed! By golly, I think I'm blessed too!"
