• The 9*1*1 Woman - a 1-4 part presentation which informs women
about the stressors in their lives and educates them about removing
or lessening those stressors before they produce anxiety, depression
or other melt-down symptoms.
• Grace Blossoming: Actualizing Our 'New Creations in Christ -
Most of us have only an intellectual understanding that we are new creations
in Christ. During this conference (or retreat) we discuss how to make
that intellectual understanding permeate our habits of thought, our
words, our actions, our reactions to other people and to the situations
we encounter. We learn to exchange our lifelong self-perception for
God's perception of us.
Single Session Topics
• God Don't Make No Trash! - This famous quotation from Lovey,
the wise, old housekeeper in Kay's novel Celebration! succinctly sets
the stage for Kay's most popular speech. Why do so many of us feel worthless
in spite of all we accomplish? Do we have any control over this self-perception?
Kay explains how we developed this false evaluation of our worth and
how we can change our perception.
• Forgiveness - the Road to Peace - Understanding be real important
cause it lead to forgiveness, and forgiveness be the road to peace.Once
again Kay's character, Lovey, imparts wisdom we all need to embrace,
but how do we forgive? Join Kay as she discusses practical ways to forgive,
free yourself and move on.
• Choice - the Power to Shape Our Lives- Many of us are not embracing
our God-given power of choice. Instead, we allow the world to control
us by accepting the perceptions of life and of ourselves which the world
chooses to market to us. How do we become alert to these manipulations
and how do we resist them? Join Kay in a discussion of ways to regain
the gift of choice which God gave us.
• Practicing the Presence of God - Occasionally we are graced
with a moment of insight, and we understand how thoroughly God is present
in our lives. How can we make this fleeting moment of insight into a
constant perception that lights our life through good and bad times?
• There's Only One of You!- You are God's unique creation, and
you were born to make manifest the glory of God that shines through
you. Have you fallen into the habit of being such a 'people pleaser'
that you no longer even remember who you are? You’re
not alone! Join Kay for a discussion of ways to re-embrace your true
identity and bring your special gifts to the world.

of spiritual ideas to one's daily life." (Joyce Heckman, retired
businesswoman)
• "Kay has a God-given talent for speaking; there's no doubt
about it! It is amazing how she captures and keeps her audience's attention.
And what she says is so applicable to our everyday lives."
(Lillian Sodek)
• "Kay's words at our retreat touched women in every stage
of relationship with God, from the seeker to the saintliest. With godly
wisdom, humor, and humility, she guided us to practical steps for living
out the reality of being a new creation in Christ." (Myrna Cantrell,
retreat director, First United Methodist Church, Groesbeck, Texas)
Kay Says:
I always do short, humorous monologues which are strategically
spaced throughout my presentation. The humorous monologues are simply
another way of teaching.
Gospel Presentation?
I present the gospel directly (with references to scripture) when I
speak to women in a spiritual setting. When I speak to women in a secular
setting, I present the gospel by modeling it, i.e., making it clear
that my life is based on my certain knowledge that I am God's beloved
child, that I depend on Him constantly, and that I choose to be guided
by His Holy Spirit and the Bible.
Why Kay Speaks:
I know the world needs a personal relationship with God through Jesus
Christ and know that God has gifted me to speak publicly and expects
me to use His gift. I speak to honor the call He has placed on my life.Kay's
Goal:
To show my audience Jesus!
