from childhood, false standards from a corrupt society, hissed lies from the
Enemy. I want His voice to be the one I hear so His voice--and His message--will
be the one my audiences hear.

My goal when I speak is to meet people exactly where they are and to share Christ's love for them and acceptance of them in that moment, then gently encouraging them and boldly empowering them to take a step of faith to the next level of their spiritual journey in a relationship with Christ. My desire is to see the walls of criticism and judgment torn down that have separated Christians for generations. The bottom line is Jesus Christ.

I love people and I believe God's called me to speak truths about Him in modern day parables. Whether it is in my fiction or simply sharing from my own life, the call is the same, Jesus is an intimate and approachable Savior.

I recently took a couple of months off to focus on my writing and marketing a book. As I stepped back behind the podium this month, I felt at home. It's become very much an avenue of ministry for me, a calling.

I LOVE speaking to women and sharing my life story. There is nothing like it when someone accepts Christ at an event after you make a presentation or when a woman comes to you in tears with something that is breaking her heart or something concerning her child's needs. I enjoy sharing the message God gives me to share.

I love speaking! I am amazed that God would allow me to do something I love so much. I love it when He shows up and gives me words and thoughts from His word that I had no idea I was even going to say and then learning afterward that I had spoken to someone's deepest need.

My talks are generally light on the heavy theology and heavy on the light inspiration, motivation, celebration and art-of-living. I am not a theologian or a Bible scholar, but I present real-life inspirational stories with real-life solutions that certainly use the gospel of Jesus Christ in their takeaway messages. I don't generally quote the Bible verse by verse.

My goal is changed lives - that those who attend will not leave the same as they came. I always pray that when a conference is over and weeks or months have passed, those who attended will say, "I can't remember that speaker's name, but God changed my life that weekend." A fellow AWSA shared that prayer with us on the loop one day and I have adopted it as my hope, too.

As women, we're so busy trying to be everything to everybody that we end up feeling like we're nobody to anybody! We worry that we'll never get it right; that we're letting everyone down; that we can't measure up; that we don't have what it takes. My goal is to point women to the only true source of encouragement and hope-Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Our "Barbie Generation" needs to know the difference between looking beautiful and being beautiful. When I teach, I hope that women will learn to see themselves differently. That they will rejoice that they are fearfully and wonderfully made. That they will understand that their worth has nothing to do with their jean's size or complexion, but in the fact that they are a child of God. I want women to desire to be beautiful in their hearts and to balance that with taking good care of their bodies.

I love to see audiences laugh so hard they have to wipe away their tears. My goal is to keep 'em listening so they will hear my messages of breaking free from their burdens and past so they willdraw near to God. This message is needed today. Your audience will be refreshed.
